I'm a HUGE fan of the Winter Olympics. I'm not as obsessive to know the exact number of days until the Vancouver 2010 Olympics begin (although, I wish I did know this exact moment + you can bet I'll look it up as soon as I'm done posting this), but I do consider myself a very big fan. There isn't a sport I won't sit and watch with excitement in my heart.

Of course, these next Olympics are happening on Canadian soil, so that in itself is pretty damn exciting! A few weeks ago, they revealed the medals. I think they are beautiful works of art, and just look really cool. The Vancouver 2010 medals are individually unique, the biggest Olympic medals ever, and also the first to include recycled e-waste

I am proud as a Canadian of those medals not only because they look cool, but also because of what they represent. The fact they are partially made from recycled materials helps too. Canada is really going above and beyond with these medals, and that's pretty damn impressive + exciting to see.

The medal artist, Corrine Hunt, & designer, Omer Arbel say it best...

As of today? There's 100 days to go...

... I thank CanadaAM on CTV for the daily reminder.
I think they've bene counting since 500 days.

And there's 50 days until Christmas...

... which means 26 days until my birthday and 63 (?) until yours! :-) hehehehe.
